Freespirit Recreation recommends that any of the High Country Premium Series Roof Top Tents are installed on a separate roof rack on top of your vehicle, specifically on a roof rack that can handle over 200 lbs of dynamic load. The distance between the High Country Premium Series Roof Top Tents and the roof rack should not exceed more than 1.5”.
Please ALWAYS check the roof rack and cross bar compatibility with the roof rack/cross bar manufacturer directly before installing the tent as some racks and cross bars are listed as "not compatible" with certain tent models.
